Better Metrics - 22 Committed to Living Each Day

Updated: 4 days ago

What if we lived in a world where we tracked more positive metrics?

What if we lived in a world where we no longer needed to track 22 veterans a day committing suicide and instead tracked 22 veterans a day committed to living?

When I consider metric of 22 veterans a day committing suicide, I am always saddened to hear. I was almost one of those numbers. But I have a hard time trying to give veterans an action to avoid being that statistic.

However, what if we had a number tracking veterans taking action to live instead of taking their life. Maybe others that are on the edge would be able to see that their is life beyond the overwhelming mental pain that they are currently experiencing?

So I propose we start tracking 22 veterans committed to living and telling their story to others about what life is like on the other side of the pain.

Maybe we will call #22Living ?

I have no clue how one would track something like this, but I would rather have more of a positive number than less of a negative number.
